Publication Plan

Publication Plan
Title:  ONLY INDIE
Positioning statement: the greatest indie magazine.
Frequency of publication: Monthly
Price: £2.99
Distribution: Newsagents and supermarkets
Rationale: The magazine is for older teenagers, who love indie music. We will include images and reviews on the latest indie music. It will also have some exclusive interviews with new indie bands, which will focus on what the readers want to know and find out.
Style: It will be mainly informal, as it has to appeal to teenagers. It will include humour most of the time, but will also have some serious comments and information when relevant. The magazine is for music fans so it will use words to do with music, with mostly short paragraphs, but no slang.

Font: My font for the front cover and the contents page will be Arial, because it's clear and looks professional. Also for the article titles and the page numbers on the contents page, will be in bold, to show that they stand out. My font size will range from 48pt for the main title, 30pt for the section titles, 11pt-14pt for the picture content, 16pt for the main content interview, 12pt for the middle section of content.
